May 2011 – village of Gorna Bela rechka, Vratsa region

The field work was based on participants observation of the Eight annual festival of the Goat Milk – a festival of memoirs in the village of Gorna Bela rechka, municipality of Varshets, Montana region. The event was organized by the Foundation for New Culture and the topic this year was “Abandoned houses – Abandoned North-West”. The organizers aimed at provoking a social discussion as well as at providing a non-traditional reading of the problems – by the use of art (theatre, photography, literature).
